I believe it is a perfect place to escape on a rainy day. There was a lovely glimpse through the history of toys. It is a beautiful cosy building in the nice location (there is an underground parking) and literally 200m away is the old town.
It has five floors but you don’t need the whole day, as it is pretty small and some rooms you can finish in no time. What is nice, is that you can stay at different corners for playing games and testing some toys.
The museum is small but packed with all sorts of toys and gadgets that will keep the little ones entertained. Unfortunately we missed the story telling session at 16.00 because we were too late. Remember it is first come first serve with no reservation possible! One small minus point is we feel it probably lacks some specific attraction for our kids to be a regular.
So wonderful museum with super nice exposition, it will be interesting for all adults and children. Here not only toys and also to many educational things. 5 floors of various exhibitions. Must to visit with children in Baden
Excellent place to pass a half a day with your kids. Many historical stuff. Amazing possibilities to play, listen and read together with your dears.
Interactive exhibits, a great collection of Swiss children’s toys and articles relating to growing up Swiss.
When you are searching for a good place to be with the children then this museum is your direction. Children can enjoy and have fun as well as it's interesting to learn many things from what are inside since it made to collect between the fun and the educational purposes. I must say it's also good for adults where they can have a lot of information too.
Easily you can spend 3 to 5 hours. We enjoyed a lot even we didn't realise the time so we got a parking fine 😁😂
Cannot agree more: great way to spend half of a rainy day with kids.
I liked the the building itself as well, especially the wooden stairs. Somehow reminding me all the embassys in Bern.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. KUDOS to whoever keeps the windows so spotless from all those tiny touching hands.
Lots of old toys beautifully exhibited. It has many interactive sections for the kids to play with. The cafeteria area is also very convenient.
